Countertops  QUARTZ Perfect for the customized home, engineered quartz comes in just about every shade imaginable. This engineered product combines ground quartz, resin and pigments for a tough, nonporous material. Quartz is heat and scratch resistant. NATURAL STONE Best for a classic stone look in low-traffic areas, like a baking zone or guest bath. It's available in a wide range of natural colors. However, it's more porous than granite, so it's not as stain-resistant. It also scratches easily, is less heat resistant than granite, and needs periodic sealing. Many colors and styles are available, including those that mimic concrete, stone, and quartz. It's stain-resistant, and small nicks and scratches can be repaired. With solid surface, you can have a fully integrated sink. This minimizes the amount of cleaning and build up of food particles around and near the sink. This material can mimic the natural looks and textures of quartz, marble, and granite. Laminate is also available with bullnose and ogee edges for a more contemporary look. LAMINATE CULTURED STONE This product is a cast of polymer product that gives you the look of marble and granite at a fraction of the cost. It's durable and maintains it's quality for many years.
